At the end of a three-day meditation retreat, I went for a walk at Liliuokalani Gardens to journal my breakthroughs. I stumbled upon a dying moth under a mango tree alongside the ponds. After communing with its Spirit, it was clear to me I was meant to help it pass on. Given my sensitive nature and my love of all creatures, it was a tough process, but I turned to the blank page afterward to grieve and this piece came through.
